Canadian Smartphone maker Research In Motion on Wednesday 18th April launched its Curve 9220 in India Priced at Rs 10,990.The latest Curve is an affordable low-end Smartphone targeted at young consumers as against the enterprise BlackBerry consumers.




BlackBerry Curve 9220 is a 2G GSM phone which has the dimensions 109x60x12.7 mm with 102 grams of weight and QWERTY keypad. It has 2.44 inches TFT display with 320×240 pixels resolution. It has touch sensitive trackpad. It has 512MB internal and 32GB external memory with 512MB RAM. All the connectivity features GPRS< EDGE, WLAN, Bluettoth v2.1 with A2DP, microUSB v2.0 are available in it.


It has 2 mega pixels camera with 1600×1200 pixels resolution but there is no secondary camera available in it. Videos can be recorded with the primary camera. As usual this phone powered by blackberry’s own OS Blackberry OS 7.1. There are audio and video payers which plays a various range of file formats.Its standard Li-Ion Battery which has the capacity 1450 mAh gives the back upto 7 hours in talk time mode and 18 hours in stand by mode.The smartphone comes in Black, Fuchsia Pink, Teal Blue and Pure White colors.
