Samsung introduces Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS Bada phones
Samsung announced two new feature phones to its lineup, the Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS. Both of theses devices have identical, low-end specs; EDGE data, a 3.2 megapixel fixed focus camera, and a 3-inch QVGA display at 320 x 240. The only difference is that the Star 3 DUOS has dual sim slots, a seemingly common theme among phones released in emerging markets. Both phones are running TouchWiz on Samsung's Bada OS and come with ChatON, the company's recently released cross-platform messaging application. As of now there's no word on pricing, though Samsung says it plans on making the Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS available in Russia at the end of the month, followed by releases in CIS, Europe, Latin America, Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Southwest Asia shortly after.
