Motorola MOTOLUXE and Motorola DEFY MINI
Motorola Mobility Inc introduced two stylish smartphones named Motorola MOTOLUXE™ and Motorola DEFY™ MINI. Either of the smartphones are unique of its kind and offers the best of breed functionality at an affordable price range. The new Motorola MOTOLUXE is a hip slim touchscreen smartphone and the Motorola DEFY MINI dustproof and water-resistant smartphone. Both the devices run on Google powered Android OS v2.3 Gingerbread with MotoSwitch user interface.
Motorola MOTOLUXE
The new Motorola MOTOLUXE dubbed from Motorola XT615 is already selling at China. This device comes packed with 4-inch FWVGA TFT Touch Screen with a display size of 480 x 854 pixels. Though the device looks hefty in size, it is powered with 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7227A-0 Processor, 1GB ROM + 512 MB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Motorola MOTOLUXE houses an external memory slot which can accommodate a 32GB microSD card. The Motorola XT615 sports an 8.0 Megapixel Auto Focus Rear camera with LED Flash and a front-facing 0.3 MP, VGA Camera for video calling. The rear-camera is capable of recording and playback of videos at HD 1080p. The connectivity options including Bluetooth v3.0 with EDR, A2DP, MicroUSB port 2.0, 3G (HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps), A-GPS are common for both the devices.
Motorola DEFY MINI
The new Motorola DEFY MINI is an ideal phone for active users who need a device as resilient as they are. This smartphone is an iteration of Motorola DEFY and DEFY Plus. The same characteristics like Water-resistant, dust-proof and with a scratch resistant Corning® Gorilla® Glass display too apply to this device. Motorola DEFY MINI comes with a compact 3.2-inch touchscreen which is sufficient enough for emailing, texting and browsing the Web. The device offers a long battery life (1650 mAh battery for up to 10 hours of talk time, 21 days of standby time) and you can keep this phone on and by your side all day long no matter where you go, so you’ll never miss a beat.
Motorola DEFY MINI sports a 3.0 Megapixel camera with flash instead of the 5.0 Megapixel lens. There is a front facing VGA camera fixed for video chatting with friends and family. Motorola DEFY MINI is expected to be available in China under the name Motorola XT320 and in select countries like Europe and Latin America starting from February 2012. Finally, there is no word about the pricing and the Indian market launch.
